In today's culture, parenting can be a challenge. It is easy to hand over the responsibility to schools, learning channels and even the Church, but God challenged parents to train up their children in His ways. DIY Parenting gives parents strategies and tools that they can use to take back that God given assignment of raising kids and raise them to be healthy emotionally, spiritually and physically. It empowers parents to effectively guide their children into an adulthood marked by maturity and success.
Our vision for Hope Weekends is simple: We want to transform good marriages into great marriages, and we want troubled marriages to be healed and restored so more children will grow up in happier, healthier homes.
Engaged Encounter is a marriage preparation program sponsored by the Engaged Encounter Community and the Diocesan Center for Family Life, Diocese of St. Augustine. The encounter is a weekend experience which allows couples time to reflect upon their relationship in an atmosphere free of the pressures and distractions of everyday life.
Most couples do not know “how” to be married. Adventures in Marriage helps couples discover better ways to meet one another’s needs, communicate, resolve conflicts, express anger, avoid dirty fighting, and understand how their personality styles impact relationships for better or worse.
Pre Cana is a one-day marriage preparation class offered by the Diocesan Center for Family Life. It follows a structured schedule and is presented to groups of engaged couples.
